DESCRIPTION:

LL-37 is a cationic antimicrobial peptide from the cathelicidin family that plays a key role in the innate immune system. It is derived from the precursor protein hCAP18 and produced by neutrophils, epithelial cells, and other immune cells. LL-37 exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi by disrupting their cell membranes.
